This week, we would like to shine one of our biggest spotlights on all who made our Washington, DC trip such a success. This past weekend, we took nearly 230 students and 23 chaperones to DC. I would like to thank our teacher/staff chaperones: Mr. Blanchet, Mr. Magee, Ms. McPherson, Ms. Spillane, Ms. Smith, Mrs. Poirier, Mrs.Orrall, Mr. Moran, Ms. Takacs, Ms. Cotnoir, Ms. Friedman, Mrs. Ellis, and Nurse Sander. I would also like to shine our BMS Spotlights on our amazing parent chaperones Mr. Kelly, Mr. Brown, Mr. Gravina, Mrs. Blount, Mrs. Fede, Mrs. Hogarth, Mrs. Abbas, Mrs. Bowman, and Mrs.Steger. I would also like to shine our BMS Spotlight on our 8th-grade teachers for their assistance in planning/coordinating our bus, chaperone, and room groups. In addition, we would like to shine our spotlight on our front office staff Mrs. Skadberg, Mrs. Vargas, Mrs. Nelson, and Mrs. Fadale for collecting forms and answering phone calls. We would like to shine our BMS Spotlight on Nurse Maddie for collecting and coordinating all of the medical forms necessary to make this trip possible. We would also like to shine our BMS Spotlight on our Friends of DC Planning group Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Perreira, and Mrs. Colacchio. We would also like to shine our BMS Spotlight on Mr. Keller for his hard work, coordination, and dedication behind the scenes. Last, and certainly, not least, we would like to thank the hundreds of donors/contributors for financially supporting this trip. This annual tradition would not have been possible without you.
