BMS Spotlight on Learning! This week we would like to shine our BMS Spotlight on Mrs. Melanie Roy. Mrs. Roy works hard to give all students a wide variety of books so we can expand our reading horizons. Many students enjoy coming to the library in the morning, and Mrs. Roy always greets them with a smile. (Nominated by a BMS Student) This week we would like to shine our BMS Spotlight on Mrs. Riley Spillane. Riley is not only a master of content knowledge in multiple subjects, but she is a confident and bright presence in the classroom. I am in awe of her positive attitude and professionalism. BMS is lucky to have her as a part of our learning community. (Nominated by a faculty/staff member of BMS). This week we would like to shine our BMS Spotlight on Julia Texeira. In addition to being a great teacher and advocate for her students, Ms. Texeira is always there to identify close contacts, sometimes even before administration has begun looking for this information. Thank you for all you do to give our students a great educational experience and to keep BMS safe! This week we would like to shine our BMS Spotlight on Stephanie Nary. This past week when the numbers of COVID cases spiked, Ms. Nary asked what she could do to help. Her being there to provide extra support in monitoring the lunch room or to meet with a student or help cover a class allowed for Andy and Elliott to focus on contact tracing and making calls. Thank you for all that you do for BMS! Do you know of a BMS Faculty/Staff/Student member that is shining bright? If you do, please complete the form below and we can include the nomination in an upcoming newsletter. | ||||||||||
