2024-2025 MEETING SCHEDULE
BSBC meetings are scheduled for the third Tuesday of every month at 6:00 at BMS (and may meet additionally, as needed).
Agendas will be published on the RI Secretary of State website and linked on this page 48 hours before each meeting in accordance with Rhode Island Open Meeting Laws.

PURPOSE OF THE COMMITTEE
In 2019, the District established a Facilities Advisory Committee to identify areas of need in school buildings, establish facilities priorities, and assist in determining long-term solutions. In 2021, the Facilities Advisory Committee became the Barrington School Building Committee.

Submit Stage II application to the Rhode Island Department of Education | Complete: Stage II application submitted in February 2024. It was approved by RIDE in May 2024. The Rhode Island Council on Elementary and Secondary Education authorized more than $1.3 billion in school construction projects across the state, including Barrington's school construction project, in May 2024. |
