Children applying to Barrington's Integrated Preschool Program as community peers must be:

• A resident of Barrington, Rhode Island, residing in Barrington at the time of the lottery

• At classroom age (3 or 4) by September 1, 2025

• Screened by our Child Outreach program prior to the first day of school

• Toilet trained before the start of the school year

Due to limited space and class size regulations, all applications will be randomly pulled from a lottery. To be considered in the preschool lottery for the 2025-2026 school year, please complete the appropriate application below before March 21, 2025. Please do not submit multiple applications for the same student.  All duplicate applications will be removed from the lottery.

Families of accepted students will be notified via email in April 2025.

If a child selected from the lottery is a twin, triplet, etc., effort will be made to allow both/all children to enter the classroom pending available space. All applicants not selected from the lottery will be added to a waitlist. If an additional classroom spot becomes available, families will be notified via email in waitlist order.

To secure your child's seat in the classroom, you must:

• Complete Preschool Acceptance / Decline Letter. This form will be included in your acceptance email. If you were offered a spot but are no longer interested in the program, please complete this form declining your child's spot so it may be offered to a student on the waitlist.

• Pay the deposit. The deposit will be applied to the balance of the required annual tuition. Please note: the District's policy is to not issue refunds after classes have begun.

• Register your child for the 2025-2026 school year. Registration instructions will be included in the acceptance email.
