TRANSPORTATION TASK FORCE
SECTION 1: PURPOSE
Transportation Task Force will consist of up to seven (7) members appointed by the Superintendent. The Transportation Task Force shall serve in an advisory capacity to the Superintendent only, whose purpose shall be to assist, advise and make recommendations that align to the School District’s short-term and long term transportation goals.
SECTION 2: COMPOSITION
The Transportation Task Force shall be comprised of three (3) members of administration, as appointed by the superintendent and up to four (4) members of the public.
SECTION 3: DUTIES OF THE TRANSPORTATION TASK FORCE
The duties of the Transportation Task Force shall include, but not be limited to, advising, counseling, assisting and making recommendations to the Superintendent on the following matters:
Advise the Superintendent on the district’s transportation needs
Advise the Superintendent on the allocation of transportation funding
Comment on policies and protocols involving school district transportation
Advise the Superintendent of analyzing transportation data for the purpose of finding transportation efficiencies and potential cost savings
